On December 8, the 2021 CIAQU online board meeting was successfully held. The President of Al-Quds University, Dr. Imad Abu Kishek, the President of Jiangxi Normal University, Mr. Mei Guoping and CIAQU directors were invited to attend the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the 2021 work, financial reports and adopted the 2022 work plan and financial budget as well as other proposals.
Dr. Imad expressed satisfaction with the achievements of the Confucius Institute in language and cultural exchanges and thanked Jiangxi Normal University for its support over the years.
Mr. Mei Guoping expressed his appreciation for CIAQU's insistence on carrying out education and teaching activities while fighting against COVID-19. He also emphasized the sincere partnership between Al-Quds university and Jiangxi Normal University. ''The strong commitment to support CIAQU has never changed."he said.
In the end, the board discussed some issues about how to make further cooperation between the universities.
