On May 10, CIAQU held a cultural experience activity themed "Transfer emotion by Jianzi and embrace all " in the last Chinese class of the spring semester.

In the class, the teacher first briefly introduced the Chinese "Jianzi" to the students. "Jianzi" is a traditional folk sports that originated in the Han Dynasty. It is also a simple and easy fitness activity, popular among young people in China. Then the Chinese teacher showed how to play “Jianzi” and encouraged students to practice. Although it was the first to play "Jianzi", some students could master skill and played well. After the practice, the teacher divided the students into two groups, A and B, for the competition. Each group member was limited to one minute relay kicking Jianzi. The group with the highest score was the winner. The Jianzi flew up and down with the footstep, and the game was thrilling. The students cooperated well. The sound of cheering and the landing of the Jianzi were mixed together. The live competition was very intense.

The second activity is "playing sandbags". The teacher first explained the game rules: a group of students will stand outside the line to throw and catch the sandbag, and a group of students will stand inside the line. If anyone can catch the sandbag, his group will add one point; if anyone was hit by sandbag, he will be out. Students flickered and threw themselves into the game, with sandbags flying around in the air. 

The experience activities allowed students to experience traditional Chinese sports in practice, fully aroused the enthusiasm to learn Chinese, and promoted students' in-depth understanding of Chinese culture.
