The Spring Festival is one of the most representative festivals in traditional Chinese culture, and its rich and colorful customs and activities have attracted global attention.

The online Spring Festival cultural course held by the Confucius Institute this time vividly showcases various traditional customs and activities of the Spring Festival through various forms such as video, text, and interaction, including family reunions on New Year's Eve, watching the Spring Festival Gala, dancing lions, setting off firecrackers, etc., allowing students to immerse themselves in a virtual environment and experience a strong festive atmosphere.

After the online Spring Festival cultural course, students expressed that they were still unsatisfied and enjoyed it very much. They also hoped that the Confucius Institute could carry out more Chinese cultural activities with traditional festivals as the theme in the future.

On the occasion of the Spring Festival, all the faculty and staff of the Confucius Institute at Al-Quds University wish everyone a happy New Year, a happy family, and a prosperous Year of the Loong!

CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE

As China's economy and exchanges with the world have seen rapid growth, there has also been a sharp increase in the world's demands for Chinese learning. Benefiting from the UK, France, Germany and Spain's experience in promoting their national languages, China began its own exploration through establishing non-profit public institutions which aim to promote Chinese language and culture in foreign countries in 2004: these were given the name the Confucius Institute.
