Al-Quds University is ready provide the necessary support within our capacities.” Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishek, President of Al-Quds University, expressed his solidarity with China in a letter to Prof. Dr. Mei Guoping, President of Jiangxi Normal University, China, in mid-February, 2020.

As a matter of fact, in early February, many of the 1500 senior middle school students from Jerusalem and nearby regions left their signatures on a piece of paper to show their support for China during their participation in the AQU Open Day event.

Some AQU student representatives awarded a letter of honor to the Chinese teachers at CIAQU in appreciation of their steadfastness in spreading Chinese culture under this special circumstance.

Chinese language learners from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, General Military Training Commission, Al-Quds University and Birzeit University recorded video to cheer for China. They believe that the situation in China will go as the Chinese song "Sunshine is always behind the wind and rain" depicts.

A video published by Al-Quds University in support of China’s efforts in fighting the epidemic, received more than 10,000 views, becoming one of the most popular videos produced by the University.

President Imad also mentioned that the Palestinian people, including AQU employees and students, are in solidarity with China and support the Chinese government and people in the fight against the Corona virus.
